Jillian + Chris | Jekyll Island Resort Club Wedding, Jekyll Island, GA
Jillian & Chris happen to be one of our all time favorite couples. No seriously, they are! These two were put on this earth for each other and when they look at each other, their connection, their spark, is so intense you can feel it. Their love is really a fun and inspiring thing to be around and it also makes for amazing images. It makes our job as photographers so much easier.Their wedding was at the breathtaking Jekyll Island Club Hotel, located in Jekyll Island GA. This historic landmark hotel was the perfect back drop to tell this love story. There were so many special moments that it is hard to share them all but one that sticks out in my mind was Jillian with her dad. It was raining and Jillian was upset.(as many brides would be on their wedding day if it rained) She began thinking that her ceremony wasn’t going to be held in the location they had decided on and was going to have to be moved because of the rain. Jillian’s dad was in the bridal suite sitting on the bed at that time. Jillian crawled up on the bed and laid down next to her dad to be comforted. He put his arm around her and talked to her, making her laugh the way only a daddy can do and instantly Jillian was fine. This was one of the sweetest moments and we were so lucky to be able to capture it.
The rain lifted and Jillian was walked down the isle by her mother and her father to Chris who was visibly emotional. I’m telling you these two are the real deal. She is his entire world and when he looks at her his face screams “I’m the luckiest man in the world”. Such a fun group of people made the trip up from Florida to celebrate with Jillian and Chris. The dance floor was packed all night and a few of the bridesmaids found their way into the fountain at the end of the night (shhhh! Don’t tell! It’s a historical land mark). Here are some of the images from Jillian and Chris’ wedding. A very special thank you to the Lydon family for allowing us to capture your daughter’s special day. Big congrats to the new Mr. and Mrs. Guerry. We love you guys- it was such a pleasure.
